Scripture: Psalm 84:1–4
“Psalm 84:1 How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! 2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God. 4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.[c] Lord your Alter, Can a soul tell the lord, How they long for the alters of the lord. Not the alters of your Family’s, just the alter of the Lord. In Your Life things will not always be not the same. Walking with good will not always sweet and easy. Flowery walks , don’t always lead to the glory. Jesus walked in a hard but it brought him to glory . Walking with God, is having an understanding that God will always remain constant despite me as an individual having shortfalls. This will make you realize that you aught to always cry to the one who does not change which is God. The one who trust In the Lords knows that his Redeemer is alive, and can raise even as the last person. Those that knows that God is with them and that the covenant will not perish. Even though the walk through the valley of pain, Their trust in God will not be lowered. It only when we don’t trust Lord that people find it hard to practice the word of God,. Every time you spend time in his presence, God will renew your strength . Do not give up on the lord, it when you walking and God will put a Parth in your heart. Those who trust in the lord finds the way laid up on their hearts .. You can be in an abundance financially but still in an emotional deserts , spiritual deserts . Maybe you are in a certain thing that makes you cry, Just continue to trust the lord and he will heal you out of any issues.”
Psalm 84:1–4
Psalm 84 opens with a simple, urgent longing: "How lovely is your dwelling place." The heart in this psalm is not content with the ordinary; it yearns for the courts of the Lord, for the living God. That longing is the starting point of faithful life. Name it. Be honest about how much you want God.
The Altar We Seek
This longing is for the Lord's altar, not the altars of family tradition or social comfort. There is a difference between warm memories of church life and the living, present reality of God's presence. The altar of the Lord points us beyond ourselves and beyond human substitutes to the place where worship meets God.
Walking With God Is Not Always Smooth
Walking with God is not always a smooth, flowery walk. Jesus walked a hard road that led to glory, and His followers will often travel difficult paths too. Yet walking with God comes with confidence: He remains constant despite our shortfalls. That is why we can cry out to Him. He does not change.
Trust in the Living Redeemer
Trust grows when we remember that our Redeemer is alive. God is present in covenant. Even when we pass through valleys of pain, the covenant does not perish, and our trust does not have to be erased. Distrust makes it hard to live out God's Word; trust opens us again to obedience and hope.
Presence Renews Strength and Guides the Heart
Time in God's presence renews strength. When we linger before the Lord, we are refreshed, and He often places a path in our hearts: a sense of direction and peace for the next step. Those who trust Him will find the way laid up in their hearts.
When Abundance Meets a Desert
You can be prosperous in money and still be in an emotional or spiritual desert. Financial abundance does not guarantee a satisfied soul. If you are in a place of tears or emptiness, the call is the same: keep trusting the Lord. Stay at the altar. Stay in His presence. Let Him begin to heal you.
A Pastoral Word
If you are weary, do not give up. Keep seeking the dwelling place of the Lord. Cry out to the One who does not change, spend time in His courts, and trust that He will renew your strength and guide your steps. Blessed are those who dwell in His house; they are ever praising Him.

Texte biblique : Psalm 84:1–4
